MIAMI—  A sponsor-parolee matching group has opened registration for interested beneficiaries of the humanitarian parole programs for Cubas, Haitians, Venezuelas, Nicaraguas and Ukrainians.

The Welcome.US group’s database will be open on the 15th of the month for a limited time to balance the number of sponsors and beneficiaries through its Welcome Connect platform.

This month on Feb. 15, registration filled up in less than a few hours.

If you’re looking for a sponsor, the site now says, check the registration page on March 15.

If you want to sign up to be a sponsor with Welcome.US, registration to create a profile remains open.

Welcome.US is a non-profit organization that helps connect those seeking humanitarian parole or refugee status in the United States with Americans willing to sponsor them.

Welcome.US also partners with Welcome Corps, the program that aims to recruit 10,000 Americans to sponsor at least 5,000 refugees in 2023. Welcome Corps is not available to regular Haitians, Cubans, Nicaraguans, Venezuelans, Afghans or Ukrainians seeking entry to the U.S. because these groups have their own humanitarian parole process, immigration lawyers and experts said.

If you already have a sponsor, they can register for I-34A on the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services website to declare their financial support.
